i recently changed the theme of this page again, i like this a little more.
If this really works well, this could be huge news. OLED screens are brighter & more energy efficient, yet the industry has continued to build more LCD fabrication factories. New factories could still potentially build larger and cheaper screens (by the roll instead of by the panel), but this news means the old infrastructure may not be a boat anchor after all, one that would otherwise keep OLED technology niche and expensive while they recoup investments on LCD.
